Wednesday Night Prayer Service 7pm in the Sanctuary
Each Wednesday night through May 19th
following dinner there will be a
prayer service
in our sanctuary.
The public is invited to this time of singing, prayer and
brief
reflection on scripture.
At Jackson Woods, we know that in order to make disciples we have to be better disciples. Becoming a better disciple and therefore a stronger Christian is what Discipleship U is all about. On Wednesday Nights during the School year, we gather to develop our discipleship skills.
Discipleship U has something for all ages. Whether a new Christian or a seasoned Christian, you will benefit from a few courses in Discipleship U.
Four Areas a Disciple Improves in Regularly
Spiritual Growth (knowledge of God and the Bible) Giving (utilizing the resources entrusted to us) Service (showing Christ's love in action) Worship (living lives of purpose and praise)
When we gather we start with a meal. Just like any other college student, we like to eat. Unlike your college years, the food is good and the cost is low ($4 per adult, $3 per child or $12 limit for a family). We encourage busy families to seize this opportunity to recapture the family night dinner. Sit together and enjoy a meal in your second home, the church. There are plenty of opportunities for fellowship with other families as well.
